Our events and social media marketing services are promoted through various platforms. Our primary focus is to create a space where job seekers can connect with employers and secure summer employment.

Melissa Hafner
Melissa Hafner is the President & Owner of Summer Jobs Baltimore and Summer Jobs Delmarva. After working in the field of Human Resources and recruitment for 20 years, she noticed a gap in the market for jobseekers looking for their first job, usually a seasonal job. In forming Summer Jobs Baltimore and Summer Jobs Delmarva in 2021, she wanted to create a resource that she did not have when looking for her first job. Melissa grew up in Baltimore, MD spending her summers visiting the Delmarva beaches. She attended Perry Hall high school, graduated from Stevenson University with a degree in Psychology and found herself building a career in Human Resources. For the past 13 years, she has focused on Talent Acquisition. She has led recruitment teams for big, small, non-profits, for-profit and Fortune Top 10 organizations, in all industries. Over the years, her passion has become more focused on the marketing side of recruitment, through social media, lead generation and event planning. Melissa’s varied background and local knowledge is the secret to the success of our company and its services.
